Sacred Fire Productions, with the support of Sun Life and the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, is honored to present Children of Silence, the very first solo exhibition by Félicia Vollant-Dubé.
Through a series of works as powerful as they are sensitive, this young Innu-Naskapi artist explores the theme of silence, not as an absence, but as a rich and multiple language. The characters she depicts are deliberately depicted without mouths, a poetic and powerful way of paying tribute to children on the autism spectrum, whose modes of expression transcend words.
Children of Silence is an invitation to listen differently, to observe, to feel. A deeply human artistic approach, where art becomes a space for dialogue between the visible and the invisible.
