As part of TRC Day and Peace Days, September 30, from 6 to 8 pm, we are organizing a panel discussion titled “Every Breath is Sacred: A Dialogue Among Spiritual Leaders”.
The discussion promotes interfaith understanding and reconciliation, emphasizing the Indigenous perspective. The panel will explore the sacredness of breath and life and the importance of spiritual leadership in addressing global challenges.
Kevin Deer, cultural leader kanien’kehà:ka/Mohawk, and faithkeeper at the Mohawk Trail Longhouse in Kahnawake, along with other spiritual leaders, including Rabbi Lisa Grushcow, Imam Hassan Guillet, and Presbyterian Pastor Richard Bonnetto.
