Sacred Fire Productions are an Indigenous arts organization registered in Canada as a not-for-profit organization (L.C. 2009, ch 23) under the Corporations Act. We received our not-for-profit status in April 2012 and obtained our charitable status on October 13, 2021, 83884 8125 RR0001.
The mission of Sacred Fire Productions is to build bridges between Indigenous artists and audiences of all ages and backgrounds, including urban areas, so that these artists can assert themselves, develop and live better from their art.
We believe in the revitalization and reclamation of Indigenous arts and cultural practices that are traditionally rooted in the communities. Through an approach that fosters intercultural exchange and dialogue, we wish to contribute to a better understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Métis cultures and to a positive attitude towards them.
