Final curtain for the mural “Envolée urbaine”

As part of our Inspiring Dialogues project, we were pleased to welcome Noémie, Katéri, Kristina, and Aurélie, four young Innu girls from Maliotenam, Uashat, and Sept-Îles, for a week to create a mural with the guidance of artist and illustrator River June.

This mural highlights the common loon, an emblematic bird of Quebec, and also features symbols reflecting Innu culture and the landscapes of the young women’s region.
